Welcome to Tricia's Bake Shop! 

Though not an actual storefront business, Tricia's offers sweet treats at local Farmer's Markets and by special order.  Some of the recipes are 'tried and true' from my family's bakery while some are newer recipes. 

I'm a third generation baker, have always loved to bake, and find inspiration from my memories of baking with my dad, Willy, and family.  My German grandparents started and successfully operated their Chicago business, Reynen's Bakery, for 65 years starting in the 1930s. Four generations of the Reynen Family  worked at the Bakery every Sunday between Thanksgiving and Christmas to make baked goods for sale in the storefront.  Since its closure in 1996, my family carries on the tradition of getting together every holiday season to bake our favorites of the family cookie recipes. 

For a long time, I have been thinking, "Why limit the baking to the Holiday Season?" I have decided to bake year-round and want to share delicacies with you and your family! 

Tricia's Bake Shop provides me the opportunity to do what I love -- bake -- and gives you the opportunity to enjoy quality delights made with joyful tradition:  cookies, cupcakes, brownies, bars, breads and more.
